De Nachtwacht

De Nachtwacht is a Dutch band formed in 2025 by musician Jiri Taihuttu, born in Venlo on 11 November 1994. Taihuttu has a background in guitar, songwriting and production. After ending his work as rapper Jiri11 in early 2025, he started De Nachtwacht to explore a more atmospheric and more acoustic sound. The band consists of Taihuttu, songwriter Berend Hensema, and musicians Dani Kaag and Tariq Pijning. The first releases, “Cederhout” and “Huis van zwart en rood”, came out on 27 June 2025.
