FENNE

FENNE (Fenne Scholte, b. 2000) is a Dutch singer, songwriter and composer based in Utrecht. Her music blends jazz, pop and songwriting with improvisation, often described as intimate “diary-like” storytelling combined with rich harmonies and grooves. She has performed on stages such as ESNS Groningen, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Tivoli Vredenburg and Fringe Festival Amsterdam, and in 2022 appeared on NPO2 Extra’s New Generations. That same year, she won the Charles Mingus Prize for “Best Composition” with Wish I Could Sing.
