Benny Sings Returns with 'Real Person'

Dutch singer-songwriter Benny Sings returns with a new song, 'Real Person', featuring L.A. musician Elijah Fox. Out via Stones Throw Records, the track is a bittersweet exploration of both the exhilaration and the corrosive nature of experiencing love, created in just hours of the two meeting up to write in Amsterdam, with Benny's filtered voice fluttering over Fox's impressionistic, jazz-infused production.

The single arrives unedited, preserving the spontaneity of the session. It follows early-year prelude 'Castle', Benny's homage to home renovation. Over two decades, the Amsterdam-based producer has built a signature sound that sits comfortably between soul, pop, and funk—collaborating with an impressive roster including Kenny Beats, Remi Wolf, Mac DeMarco, Tom Misch, The Free Nationals, and Cory Henry.
