Chaka Khan to Perform at Prince Celebration

Chaka Khan will perform at this year's Prince Celebration after being interviewed at the 2023 event without singing. The "10th Anniversary Celebration of Life" runs June 3–7 at Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis.

Khan joins Morris Day, Miguel, and an unprecedented mashup of the Revolution and New Power Generation. Programming includes panel discussions, archival footage presentations, and tributes to Prince albums including Parade, Emancipation, and The Rainbow Children.

A free block party and community sing-along are scheduled for June 6 near the giant Prince mural on 8th Street and 1st Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. Tickets to the full Celebration are $900 and $1,400 at paisleypark.com.
