Smoove & Turrell Launch Singles Tour

After more than a decade of dancefloor-filling funk and heartfelt soul, Smoove & Turrell are hitting the road with The Singles Tour — a retrospective celebrating their most enduring tracks across eight albums.

Known for their powerhouse live shows and electric chemistry, this tour brings together the duo's signature blend of northern grit, sweet soul, and infectious funk. The Gateshead pair have spent years refining what they call "Northern Funk," a fusion anchored in working-class storytelling and tireless groove.

Bedford Esquires hosts them on 24 April, with further dates running through May and beyond across venues including London's Jazz Cafe, Manchester's Band on the Wall, and Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms. The tour follows their 2023 album Red Ellen, which continues their extensive UK and European touring schedule.
